City Clerk Releases Final, Unofficial Results for 2015 Mayor and Council Election

The Phoenix City Clerk Department has released final unofficial vote tabulations for the 2015 Mayor and Council Election. A total of 136,729 ballots were cast in the election, which represents 20.81 percent of Phoenix registered voters. These results include all ballots cast in the election. The Phoenix City Council will canvass the vote at the Sept. 2 formal City Council meeting, when the results will become official.​

Movieola, Lake Eola Park’s free outdoor summer movie series comes to a close on Friday, August 28 with “Monsters University.” The family-friendly event on the park’s East Lawn starts at 6 p.m. with games and food available for purchase.

The movie will start at 8 p.m.

The East Lawn is located on Eola Drive between Washington Street and Central Boulevard, near the Lake Eola Park playground.
